National Adoption Day is a shared effort to raise awareness of children waiting in foster care for families to make a lifetime commitment to them through adoption. Delaware has 34 children who we are actively recruiting adoptive families.
Lunch with a Purpose supports Children & Families First - November 20, 2022
Held at the Rehoboth Beach Country Club, over 250 people attended the November 2nd, 2022 luncheon in support of Children & Families First where CEO, Kirsten Olson was the honored guest speaker. Through raffle basket ticket sales and a 50/50 raffle more than $6000 was raised.
State and community partners launch Delaware-centric equity database - November 16, 2022
The database was created after state and community partners identified the need for an accessible, user-friendly data platform that brings together local information to combat inequity such as those with high low-income rates, or low rates of preventative healthcare screenings. Children and Families First CEO Kirsten Olson says there’s no such thing as too much data in order to understand the people and communities we serve.
