NURTURING PARENTING PROGRAM

The Nurturing Parenting Program for Parents and Their Infants, Toddlers, and Preschoolers is a family-centered curriculum designed to foster positive parenting skills and self-nurturing.  The program features fun activities and exercises to promote family time and positive brain development in children from birth to preschool. The program consists of two main components: parenting skills training, and family skills training.

What happens in the groups?

Groups are designed to teach:

  • Self-awareness

  • Positive self-esteem

  • Empathy

  • Alternatives to hitting and yelling

  • Family communication and needs awareness

  • Healthy physical and emotional development

  • Appropriate role and developmental expectation
