Hosted by RISE Fitness + Adventure, and recognized by First Lady Tracey Quillen Carney's First Chance Delaware initiative, to ensure all children have a "first chance" to succeed, RISE TO THE CHALLENGE: 34 Feet to Defeat Childhood Hunger will directly address childhood hunger by providing the newborns, infants and toddlers in CFF's nurse home visiting programs with expanded access to nutritious food that supports healthy brain and physical development so they can thrive to their full potential.

The goal of this 3 week drive is to fill 34 boxes with much needed baby and toddler foods, diapers and wipes, so that if stacked up we would reach the top of the rock wall at RISE Fitness + Adventure

Donations can be dropped off at RISE Fitness + Adventure during their regular open hours

This is your chance! RISE Fitness + Adventure invites everyone 8yrs+  to climb their 34ft rock wall and triumph over the challenge!

100% of registration fees will be donated to CFF's nurse home visiting programs

Led by Delaware’s First Lady, Tracey Quillen Carney, First Chance Delaware encourages public, private, non-profit, philanthropic, business entities and community partnerships that work to: 

  • End childhood hunger and expand access to nutritious food for low-income children 

  • Promote learning readiness through literacy, health, and parent-child engagement programs

  • Advance the recognition of and effective response to adverse childhood experiences 

Nurse Family Partnership & Healthy Families Delaware are Children & Families First's community based health programs where qualified specially trained nurses provide home visiting services to low income pregnant mothers at no cost, positively transforming the lives of vulnerable babies, mothers and families through: 

  • Education and pregnancy support 

  • Personal and child health support 

  • Parenting support 

  • Guidance on healthy child development
