When you're ready for a foster child to join your family, you become a very special part of our family.

Become A Resource Parent:

Family Foster Care through Children & Families First is provided to children and teens who cannot remain at home, including those requiring therapeutic and specialized care.

Deciding to become a resource parent originates from a very personal and selfless place, but you're not alone. Family Foster Care works because Children & Families First has assembled a team of professionals who support not only the child who needs care but also the resource parent who is ready to offer care. Resource families can rely on extensive training and support.

A parent's job is never done, but resource parents know that their role in a child's life might someday change. That's why we'll help create a support network of safe connections; located and evaluated biological and non-biological resources/lost connections; use activities and tools to facilitate understanding of the past, self-identity, and permanent relationship.
