Online Class

For the second year, CFF is pleased to present virtual summer Puberty Education classes.  Hosted by CFF ARC Counselor/Educator, Philinda Mindler, this year represents her sixteenth school year presenting puberty education.

A note from Philinda: "I truly enjoy presenting about puberty. This is real for them and it’s important that they can have the language to discuss their own growth and development with their parents in a positive way. Both as a health educator and as the parent of two teenagers, I think it’s important that parents are empowered to talk to their kids about bodies and feelings and changes. I look forward to 'meeting' your student!"

Student sessions will cover the emotional, social and body changes in puberty as well as the reproductive system and human reproduction. Sessions are for rising 5th, 6th and 7th graders.

The parent session will provide an overview of the student sessions, giving parents an opportunity to know what materials will be shared with students during puberty sessions and allow them to ask questions about the program.

Available sessions are listed below.  On the registration form, please choose the session that best meets your needs.  You will be contacted after registration with additional details, including how to access your scheduled session.
