Resource Mothers Program
The Resource Mothers Program works with at-risk pregnant women to help make sure their babies are born healthy. Our Resource Mothers build trusting and supportive relationships with their clients, helping get them connected to the resources and services they need. Services are available in English and Spanish.

Who is eligible to receive services?
Any woman living in Delaware who is pregnant and not yet receiving prenatal care is eligible for services, regardless of her age or the number of children she has.
Some first-time moms may be eligible to participate in our
Nurse-Family Partnership program.

What services are offered after the baby is born?
Help to access health care for the mom and her baby
Assistance with transportation to medical appointments
Follow-up to make sure the baby receives regular “well-baby” check ups and immunizations
Referrals to community resources, such as WIC
Referrals to other Children & Families First programs including:
Parent Education
