Safe and Stable Families
Children & Families First offers the Promoting Safe & Stable Families (PSSF) program in Sussex County. The goal of PSSF is to improve parent-child relationships, enhance parenting skills, and increase connection to community resources for families at-risk for child abuse and neglect. Families work closely with a PSSF Family Consultant to identify needs and to develop a plan to meet them. The PSSF Family Consultant offers services and education around parenting skills, child development, fatherhood, healthy adult relationships and other family issues.
