ARC Counseling
ARC Counseling is available for adolescents ages 12-19. When a positive pregnancy test is confirmed, there are normally a wide variety of feelings and thoughts. ARC counselors are available to discuss this confidentially. We provide education about the specific options that are available and help the female to clarify her feelings about being pregnant.
When a female is pregnant she has three options: She can choose to carry to term (become a parent), consider adoption services, or have an abortion. Educational information, depending on the patient’s decision, is provided and options are discussed in detail. Partners and parents are encouraged to attend counseling sessions.
