Grand Time Off Studies show that more than six million children nationwide - approximately 1 in 12 - are living in households headed by grandparents or other relatives. In many of these homes, grandparents and other relatives have primary responsibility for the children’s needs.

The Grand Time Off program provides relief for these relative caregivers by helping them find, and pay for, short-term, occasional child care. Each eligible caregiver is able to use a subsidy of $400 per child to help pay for care.
