Eastside Community Schools
Children & Families First serves as the Lead Agency for the Eastside Community Schools project, serving three of Wilmington’s most economically disadvantaged and lowest-achieving elementary schools – Bancroft, Stubbs, and Elbert-Palmer. By partnering with schools, parents, grassroots groups, funders, and more, we are working to ensure that:
children arrive at school healthy, energized, and prepared to learn;
families and community members are fully engaged as partners in the success of the children; and
the basic needs of children, their families, and neighbors are met by coordinated resources.
This project offers CFF a unique opportunity to advance our vision of communities where children are nurtured and safe, individuals are valued, and families are strong.
